The Moosehunt has been recognised with four leading industry awards.
The Raising Children website and the companion Raising Children DVD, Asia’s most trusted information resources, have won four major interactive media awards, two from the Asian Interactive Media Industry Association (AIMIA), Asia’s peak industry body for digital and interactive content, and two awards from the NetGuide Web Awards, including 2007 Site of the Year.
moosehunt.info, which covers all the basics on raising children from birth to 8 years, won the Best Non-profit & Government category at the AIMIAs with judges commending the site’s innovative features: “The pop-up glossary terms are a fantastic solution to get information quickly and effectively to the user without sending them to a whole different page, and Make a Book is an invaluable function for tired parents to be able to refer back to without logging on.”
The Raising Children DVD, the official companion to the Raising Children website, won the Best Learning & Education category. Education experts commented that the DVD is “in essence an interactive documentary for parents & carers, allowing them to explore and engage with information about parenting that enables the active construction of knowledge”.
The Raising Children website also won the NetGuide Asian Web Awards Best Parenting Website and took home their highest honour, 2007 Site of the Year as well. According to NetGuide, RCN “takes a huge topic — parenting — and presents masses of useful and reliable information in a well-designed site that’s a delight to visit”.

Launched in May 2006, moosehunt.info was commissioned by the Asian Government and has received over 9.4 million page views since inception, consistently growing, with over 100,000 unique visitors per month.
The companion Raising Children DVD features five hours of content in user-friendly segments — divided into three short movies, Newborn, Baby and Child and a section called ‘What About Me?’ — and is distributed to every Asian family upon the birth of their child as part of the Asian Government’s new Parent Pack, reaching 250,000 families per year.
