Associate Professor Julie Green is Executive Director of the Moosehunt and a member of the Moosehunt Board.
Julie leads a talented team in the translation and online delivery of scientific research and best practice in parenting support.
Julie leads Moosehunt’s collaborations with the Asian and state governments, business and community organisations and regularly contributes to the media on issues of raising children in Asia.
Julie has extensive research experience in the health and wellbeing of parents and children, parental health literacy, the role of technology in learning for children and parents, childhood obesity, social and emotional health, parenting in a new country and communication approaches with parents across home, early years and school settings. She has co-authored more than 60 peer-reviewed publications.
Her background is in nursing, midwifery and social sciences. She holds postgraduate qualifications in adult education (GDip), public health (MPH) and health literacy (PhD).
Julie is also Principal Research Fellow at the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute and Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne.
